Kayaking is a great way of connecting to the ocean while discovering the natural environment and landscapes from a different point of view.
Explore Tenerife's rocky, volcanic shoreline as sea gulls fly over our heads and marine animals of all sizes pass from below. Visit areas and beaches accessible only from the sea.
This activity is adventurous, relaxing, fun, and great exercise.
It’s completely sustainable and eco-friendly, we leave no footprints but might recollect some floating trash from the surface.

Good to know: We mostly use single-kayaks because they are easier to handle and especially because they are much more fun! Double kayak available after request.

Half Day Kayak Tour

This trip is perfect for beginners who want to experience kayaking for the first time but also for sea lovers with previous experience who want to enjoy the morning and then have some free time. We return approx. 3 hours after the meeting. Insurance is included.
At the beginning there will be a short introduction where everything will be explained regarding safety, paddling techniques, entry and exit, etc. There is enough time to answer questions and we get to know each other.
Time to get ready: I will help everyone to get into the kayak. They are wide and quite stable and comfortable. Lifejackets have to be worn all the time from entering until exiting the water. Once we are all in the water together and ready we start paddling.
The kayak is a beautiful transport tool because it works like a bicycle with our own power and we are very close to the water surface, similar to a surfer who waits for the next wave sitting on his board. This guarantees a very intimate experience.
We will discover unique places while enjoying the spectacular views. We will pass by small coastal villages, rocky beaches and cliffs, and of course mount Teide always on the very top.
We later have time to jump into the water and snorkel. The lifejackets help us to always float comfortably. Equipped with mask and snorkel we can breathe without taking our eyes off the seabed and its inhabitants. Once we get back into our kayaks, we turn around and peacefully paddle back to our exit point.

This trip is perfect for those who have already had some previous kayaking experience and want to dedicate the whole day to the sea and an even more intense experience. We return approx. 5 hours after the meeting. Insurance is included.
As always there will be a short introduction where everything will be explained regarding safety, paddling techniques, entry and exit, etc. There is enough time to answer questions and get to know each other.
Time to get ready: I will help everyone to get into the kayak. They are wide and therefore quite stable and comfortable. Lifejackets have to be worn all the time from entering until exiting the water. Once we are all in the water and ready, we start paddling.
We paddle around discovering unique places while enjoying the spectacular views. We can see small coastal fishing villages, rocky beaches and cliffs, and of course mount Teide always on the very top.
Once we get a bit tired, we stop at one of the many beach for some rest and for a snack. Some of these beaches are only accessible by boat and don’t regularly see visitors – what a privilege!
We will also have time to jump into the water to snorkel. The lifejackets help us to always float comfortably. Equipped with mask and snorkel we can explore the underwater landscape and its numerous inhabitants. Once it becomes chilly, we get back into our kayaks, we turn around and peacefully paddle back to our exit point.

At the beginning there will be a short introduction where everything will be explained regarding safety, paddling techniques, entry and exit, etc. There is enough time to answer questions and we can get to know each other.
Once we are all set I will give a hand to everyone to get into the kayak - our kayaks are wide and quite stable and comfortable. Lifejackets have to be worn all the time from entering until exiting the water. Once we are all in the water and ready we start paddling.
We go slowly, enjoying the quietness of the late afternoon and after a little paddle we settle at a nice spot to enjoy the views and the last sun rays.
The sunset on this side of the island is spectacular: The landscape is changing colours, the calm water is reflecting the lights and we can see the island of La Gomera (many times also La Palma) joining the view as the sun melts into the horizon. Add to this the swinging feeling in our kayaks, a glass of wine in our hands, and no other distraction than the water whispering - WOW!
We return to the exit point with the last minutes of daylight.

This private trip is perfect for couples, families or a group of friends who want to be on their own or have a special day tailored to their wishes. Besides the kayaking we have the possibility to get classes in how to snorkel safely and effectively, we can even get a professional insight and learn how to freedive! There is many different options to this trip!
