FREEDIVER
The PADI Basic Freediver course is a subset of the PADI Freediver course. It's a great first step for developing solid freediving skills. You learn basic freediving principles and focus on practicing breath-hold techniques in a pool or confined water site. The course takes one day and has a cost of 200€.
Included in the course are the PADI learning materials, equipment, diving insurance, a full day of training and (after completing all requirements) the PADI Basic Freediver certification.
Requirements
To enroll in a PADI Basic Freediver course the minimum age is 12 years (minors need a signed guardian permission). You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health (completed medical questionnaire). No prior experience with snorkeling, skin diving or freediving is required.

Structure
The PADI Basic Freediver course consists of two main phases:

Independent study with the PADI Freediver eLearning, knowledge development and final exam.

Confined water session to learn breath-hold techniques, static and dynamic apnea, plus proper buddy techniques. Performance Goals: Static apnea of 90 seconds and dynamic apnea of 25 meters.
